QUETTA: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan on Tuesday gunned down four terrorists in the Kharan area of the province during an inelegance-based operation.

An operation was conducted by the security forces against the miscreants in Kharan, during which four terrorists were reportedly killed.

According to the security sources in this regard, the security forces have conducted an operation against the miscreants in the lower forest area adjacent to Kharan.

According to security sources, CTD acted on the secret information during which four terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire.

The CTD recovered weapons and explosives from the possession of the terrorists.

According to CTD sources, these terrorists were involved in the attack on the Noshki FC camp and bomb blasts. The terrorists were present in the area to target security forces and senior civilian figures.

CTD sources said that the same group were also found involved in the target killing of police and citizens in Kharan.
