Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued a show-cause notice to Faisal Vawda and suspended his membership for issuing statements against the party’s long march.

PTI Sindh President Ali Zaidi issued the show-cause notice on the instruction of Chairman Imran Khan.

The notice said Faisal Vawda has “grossly violated discipline by statements against party policies and guidelines.”

It added this is a serious violation of party rules as per the constitution, and therefore, Vawda has to submit a reply with two days on why his party membership should not be canceled.

The PTI suspended Vawda’s party membership and barred him from holding any office or representing the PTI in any manner.
