Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has submitted an application for the registration of an FIR for a murderous attack on him in Wazirabad on Thursday, with the City Police Station Wazirabad on Friday night.

Secretary General PTI Lahore chapter, Zubair Niazi and other party leaders are present at the police station for the registration of the FIR, however, a diary number has not been allotted to the application.

Meanwhile, the inside story of the important meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf held at the Shaukat Khanum Hospital Lahore came out.

The PTI leaders succeeded in persuading Imran Khan of the postponement of the Long March until he is fully recovered. Imran Khan was initially not ready to postpone the march but on the insistence of the doctors and the party leaders, he accepted their advice for the postponement of the march and rest for few days.

However, the majority of the party leaders suggested the party chairman to give a direct call for Islamabad instead of a long march.

The meeting expressed their annoyance and serious reservations over the performance of the Punjab police and other law enforcement agencies. They also voiced their doubts about the involvement of a Punjab important personality in the assassination attempt on Imran Khan.

The participants also quoted the PPP Karsaz incident, keeping the tragedy in mind and they proposed the direct call to Islamabad instead of the long march.

The party chairman took the suggestions from everyone one by one and on the opinion of the majority, Imran Khan decided to give a call to Islamabad.
