GUJRANWALA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested another suspect in the case of attack on Imran Khan during the long march from Wazirabad.

According to CTD, the arrest was made at Wazirabad Mobile Market and the suspect is a resident of Sodhra.

Following the attack on Imran Khan, so far five arrests have been made and a probe into the gun attack on the former prime minister is underway.

On Sunday, Wazirabad Police and other law enforcement agencies in a joint operation arrested four persons of a family suspected to be involved in the attack on convoy.

Pertinently, Imran Khan escaped the attack meanwhile a PTI worker died leaving the other 14 injured.

Imran Khan went through a bullet removal surgery in Shaukat Khanum and was discharged from the hospital yesterday.

On the other hand, former prime minister Imran Khan has announced to restart the Azadi March from the same site where he was shot at and injured in a murderous attack on him. He added the long march would reach Islamabad within 10 to 15 days.
