GUJRAT: Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Saturday said PTI has decided to file a petition in the Supreme Court on November 14 against the assassination attempt on Imran Khan and three other points.

While addressing a press conference, former federal minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said a petition will be filed on the behalf of PTI MNAs and Senators under four-point agenda to investigate the assassination attempt on Imran Khan, the probe of Cypher cases, inquiry of Arshad Sharif murder and Senator Azam Swati video leak.

He said the murder of senior journalist and anchorperson Arshad Sharif should be investigated while Senator Azam Swati should be provided justice. He said victim has right to lodge FIR against nominated persons.

Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan is facing political instability and holding general elections is the only solution to the country’s problems. He said Pakistan is moving in the wrong direction and the business community is worried about the current state of affairs. He said no one is ready to invest in the country.

He said Imran Khan’s narrative is getting popularity day by day in the country. He said the overall economic situation further decline if the general election does not announce on the earliest basis.
