RAWALPINDI: Former interior minister Sheikh Rashid said Saturday that today is the day to set the political history of the freedom of the country from slavery.

In a video message released hours before the Azadi march, he said that the march is a declaration of political war against those who made the economy a question mark for national security.

Earlier, in a press conference, he said that Rawalpindi has been standing with Imran Khan and the march has his full-back.

The former minister said that the convoy under his lead will kick off from Lal Haveli tomorrow at 12.

He lauded the armed force for the decision to stay away from politics while shedding light on the sufferings of the common people.
