ISLAMABAD: Former speaker national assembly and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser has said that he is sure to win Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa with a huge majority.

PTI leader Asad Qaiser while talking to Bol News said that Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s announcement will be implemented on Friday. He said PTI got votes in the elections held in four constituencies. He said there will be no obstacle in the federal government after getting government from Punjab.

He said that PTI and PML-Q are allied parties and both sides should talk carefully as PMD is doing organized propaganda against allied parties.

Asad Qaiser said that Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi and Imran Khan have taken a unanimous decision. He further said that the PDM is leading itself to a dead end. He said Cypher investigations are necessary and the nation should know the fact.

As per constitution “If the provincial assemblies are dissolved on December 23, the elections will have to be held by March 23, while elections will be held on 297 general seats in Punjab Assembly and 115 general seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”

According to Clause 1B of Article 224 of the Constitution, if a provincial assembly is dissolved, elections must be held within ninety days.

The Constitution of Pakistan stipulates that under Clause 3A of Article 105 of the Constitution, the Governor shall fix the date of holding the election within 90 days from the date of the dissolution and the results shall be announced within a maximum of 14 days after the election.

Also, under Section 57 of the Election Act, 2017, the Election Commission has to issue the election schedule within 7 days of the election date.
