LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan called an emergency meeting on the situation in Punjab.

It was said that the PTI chief has called the meeting to discuss the dissolution of assembles and the vote of confidence for CM Punjab Pervaiz Elahi.

The meeting will be attended by the senior leadership of the party.

During the meeting, Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf will also be briefed on the meetings on seat adjustment with the Q-League and there will also be a consultation on how many seats will be united on behalf of the Q-League.

There will also be a consultation regarding the acceptance of resignations in the National Assembly and Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan will also review his future options.

Owing to the threats to Imran Khan, very strict security arrangements have been made in Zaman Park and surveillance is being done with the help of CCTV cameras around Imran Khan’s residence.
