ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced Saturday to move court against the chief election commissioner (CEC).

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry while addressing in regards to the LG polls in Islamabad said that the position of CEC is not more than a clerk.

“We are going to file one more reference against the CEC.”

The development came after the electoral body failed to conduct LG polls in the capital today despite orders by the Islamabad High Court.

Notably, IHC on Friday issued orders to conduct the LG elections in Islamabad as per schedule (Dec 31).
