Pak Army soldier laid to rest with full military honour in Khuzdar
KHUZDAR: A Pakistan Army soldier, belonging to Tehsil Zehri of Khuzdar district, has been laid to rest on Friday with full military honor, Bol News reported.
The Pakistan Army soldier was martyred in the exchange of fire between Pakistan Army personnel and terrorists in Kurram Aravali district. Shaheed Naik Muhammad Ramadan belonged to Bulbul area of Zehri. He was laid to rest in a local cemetery.
A large number of local military and Levies officers and young men attended the funeral prayer. On this occasion of participation, every eye shed tears, the officers consoled the martyr’s father and expressed sympathy.
On December 26, Funeral prayer (Namaz e Janaza) of Captain Muhammad Fahad Khan, who embraced shahadat on December 25 in an IED blast near Kahan area of Balochistan, was offered at Army Graveyard Rawalpindi.
The media wing of armed forces, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) had said Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), and a large number of senior civil and military officers, soldiers, citizens and relatives of the shaheed attended the prayer.
On December 25, Capt Fahad and four soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred during an intelligence based operation in Balochistan, the media wing of military had reported.
“Based on credible intelligence, a clearance operation is underway in Kahan area of Balochistan since 24 Dec 2022. Today, an IED exploded close to the leading party. Resultantly, Captain Fahad along with four other brave sons of soil Lance Naik Imtiaz, Sepoy Asghar, Sepoy Mehran and Sepoy Shamoon have embraced Shahadat, laying their lives in defence of the motherland against an externally perpetrated threat of terrorism,” the ISPR had said.
