PM felicitates UAE President on national day

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif felicitated UAE President Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday called the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

The prime minister congratulated him on the 51st National Day of the UAE. The two leaders reiterated their mutual commitment to further expand and diversify special bilateral relations between the two countries.

PM Shehbaz Sharif paid rich tributes to Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, founding President of United Arab Emirates, for his role in laying the foundations of close and fraternal relations between the two countries.

PM Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his gratitude for the UAE’s assistance after the recent floods in Pakistan. UAE President reciprocated the greetings from the Prime Minister and extended best wishes to the people of Pakistan.

The prime minister also extended a cordial invitation to Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan to visit Pakistan at the earliest which he graciously accepted.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a statement and felicitated the leadership and the people of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on their national day.

“People of Pakistan join me in greeting our brothers and sisters of UAE on their national day today,” the prime minister said in a tweet.

He said the day was a reminder of the dynamic vision of its founding fathers, who had laid the foundation of a great nation through unification.

“Congratulations to my brother Mohamed Bin Zayed,” Shehbaz Sharif said in the tweet addressing the UAE president.
