SUKKUR: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of the Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway today (Tuesday).
As per details, PM landed in Sukkur to lay the foundation stone of the project. The ceremony held at the airport in Sukkur and was attended by the MQM and PPP ministers and officials.
Sources said that Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway is the last part of the Peshawar-Karachi Motorway, after which all major and important cities of Pakistan will be connected to the Motorway.
The project will be completed in a short period of 30 months under Public Private Partnership.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah welcomed the prime minister at Sukkur airport. The PM was accompanied by National Highway Authority (NHA) officials and federal ministers.
