RAWALPINDI: President Arif Alvi on Friday attended graduation ceremony of the National Defence University in Islamabad, Bol News reported.

The media wing of military, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said civil service officers and officers of armed forces also attended the National Security Course event.

The ISPR said purpose of the National Security Course was to keep officers abreast of the collective national security.

Meanwhile, President Arif Alvi also visited the CMH Rawalpindi. He visited the injured soldiers of the CTD Compound Bannu Operation.

On December 22, PM Shehbaz Sharif had met officers and soldiers at the CMH Rawalpindi who got injured during the recent Bannu Operation at the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) complex.

PM Shehbaz had paid tribute to courage and valour of the troops who had cleared the CTD complex, Bannu, media wing of the armed forces, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) had reported.

The prime minister had said that the martyrs and their families had rendered supreme sacrifices for ensuring safety and security of people of Pakistan.
