The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has started distribution of blankets and jackets for needy people in Pakistan with the start of winter.

UAE Consul General started the distribution process from the Khairpur area of Sindh and said that blankets and jackets will be distributed to the deserving people of Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab on behalf of the UAE Red Crescent.

“The campaign will continue for ten days, and thousands of people including children, adults, women and the elderly will benefit from this campaign.”

He also assured that the UAE is with the people of Pakistan in every hour of difficulty and will keep helping the nation.

On the other hand, UAE also lauds the volunteer act of a Pakistan residing in Sharjah who pulled barriers on a sunken road to ensure the safety of travelers.

Pakistani, Abdelaziz, was honoured by Sharjah police for his humanitarian act and a ceremony was also organized in this regard.
