Lasbeela: As many as 41 people were killed while three sustained injuries after a passenger coach lost control and plunged into a gorge near Lasbela.

A speedy passenger coach lost control and fell into the gorge near Lasbela. The passenger coach caught fire as fell into a gorge. Rescue sources said 41  people died and three sustained injuries.

The passenger bus with at least 48 on board was on its way to Karachi from Quetta when it fell into a ravine and caught fire.

The bodies and injured were moved to Lasbela Civil Hospital.

Assistant Commissioner Bela said 41 bodies have been retrieved from the gorge while three injured were recovered. He said most of the bodies were badly burnt in the incident.

The rescue operation is underway.
