ISLAMABAD: The Special Joint Investigation Team (SJIT) formed to probe the murder case of journalist Arshad Sharif asked the IGs of all the provinces and Islamabad for the details of the cases against the slain journalist.

The eighteenth meeting of the Special JIT was held in the case of the murder of Bol News senior anchorperson and journalist Arshad Sharif, in which the IGs of all the provinces of Pakistan and Islamabad have been written for the details of the cases against Sharif.

The SJIT also summoned the plaintiffs and investigating officers of these cases and recorded their statements.

On the other hand, SJIT is mulling over summoning Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to record his statement in the case.

Sources said that Imran Khan had made revelations about the Arshad Sharif murder case during several times in his speeches and press conference.
