PESHAWAR: Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mahmood Khan said Tuesday that he will send the summary to dissolve the assembly by evening today.

In a statement, KP CM rebuffed the rumours being run on media and said that such statements cannot provoke differences between him and the party.

He said that this assembly and the chief minister’s slot trusted in him which he is now returning, adding that the news of not going for the assembly dissolution and grouping is baseless.

Mahmood Khan also said that the summary will be ready by the evening and then would be sent to the governor.

On the other hand, the name for the caretaker CM of the Punjab Assembly is into consideration by the outgoing CM and the leader of the opposition after the PA stood dissolved.

CM Pervaiz Elahi sent the summary to governor Punjab for the dissolution which he didn’t sign and the assembly dissolved after 48 hours as per the constitution.

PTI then claimed that the KP assembly dissolution will take place the same way the Punjab assembly was dissolved.
