KARACHI: Two teenagers who went missing from Karachi’s Korangi area on Sunday have been rescued in Lahore.

The officials have said that the girls, 14-year old Kanza and her friend Naila, left home after planning and took information of different trains to leave the city.

The investigation officer also revealed that the girls wrote notes on a paper regarding how to travel to Korea and what difficulties they may face.

According to the authorities, the girls also asked one of their cousins to accompany them, but he rejected the idea, however, both the girls left and also formatted their Google IDs before running away.

As per the officers, the teenagers were in contact with a third girl and the police have been trying to locate her.

The parents of Kanza have also recovered a letter written by her before running away.

SSP of Korangi Town, Sajid Saduzai confirmed that the girls have been found in Lahore and the Karachi Police team will depart soon to bring them back.
