LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is to take some major decisions regarding the party leadership and an important meeting in this regard has been called in London.

Sources in the know said that an important meeting is called in London and the leaders are instructed to attend the meeting including Rana Sanaullah.

Sources have also revealed that the chances of the removal of Rana Sanaullah as party president are strong and the demand for his removal has been gaining strength among the party members.

The party leader maintained that Rana Sanaullah is the federal interior minister and it is difficult for him to run the party affairs of Punjab.

It is also said that the Maryam Nawaz group in the party is active in making Aleem Khan the president of Punjab, while Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Ahsan Iqbal restrained from taking over the presidency of PML-N Punjab.

The meeting that is to be held in London will also discuss the political situation in Punjab.
