ISLAMABAD: Following the decision announced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday to take back the resignations of 44 NA members, the PTI MNAs tried to meet the speaker in this regard but were obstructed to enter the parliament.

Being barred by the parliament officials to enter, PTI members reached the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) but the main entrance of the commission was closed and the PTI leaders were barred from entering.

Pertinently, PTI announced to withdraw the resignations of the 44 NA members to announce the Leader of the Opposition.

The members tried to approach the NA speaker in this regard but were not allowed to enter the parliament. The leaders were informed by the security guard that he has orders not to allow them to enter.

PTI leader Aamir Dogar said that today 45 MNAs came to the Speaker to remove the fake opposition leader on the instructions of the PTI chairman adding that the resignations are being withdrawn as a political strategy.
