QUETTA: The police surgeon of the civil hospital Quetta has disclosed that the body of woman found in the well along with two males was not Granaz the wife of Khan Muhammad Marri and it was body of a teenage girl who was raped and killed.

Dr. Ayesha Faiz, who had conducted a postmortem of the female brought to hospital from the sit-in, said that the body of the female was not a 40 or 45 years old woman. “It was a 17 to18 years old girl, who was raped and hit three bullets in her head,” she said in postmortem report and added that she was also tortured.

Report suggested that the accused threw acid on the face and neck of the girl to hide her identity. She submitted her report to the concerned authorities.

Meanwhile, there is a report that levies force has recovered the woman Granaz, her 17 years old daughter Farzana and son Abdul Sattar of Khan Muhammad from the border area of Duki and Barkhan where they were shifted. However, two children are yet to be traced out.

Sources said that levies officials on a tip-off conducted raids at an isolated place and recovered them. “Mother and her two children have been handed over to the Commissioner Zhob,’ sources said, adding that after completing legal formalities they would be handed over to the family.
