KOHAT: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested six terrorists during an intelligence based operation in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the details, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the Anti-Terrorism Department in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

During the operation, six terrorists including two commanders arrested who were wanted in different cases.

According to the CTD officials, all the terrorists, including the commanders, have been shifted to an unknown location for investigation.

CTD officials said that the arrested terrorists include Commander Kamal alias Rakiti, and Commander Abdullah alias Azrael.

Earlier, six terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire during a joint intelligence-based operation by the Lakki Marwat Police and the Counter-Terrorism Department.

The terrorists were wanted by the Lakki Marwat Police and CTD in the attacks on police and terrorist incidents.

According to the police, the dead terrorists were planning to attack the police post-Abbasa Khattak, the police received information about the planning of the terrorists, after which action was taken within the limits of the Dadiwala police station.
