QUETTA: At least five people got injured in an explosion on Gulistan Road in Quetta on Sunday, Bol News reported.

According to the details, five people were injured in the explosion at the check post of the security personnel on Gulistan Road.

According to Edhi sources, there are reports of five injured people, which include Usman, Qaim Khan, Fazal Muhammad, Muhammad Anwar and Thomas.

According to police sources, the nature of the blast has not yet been ascertained yet.

On January 31, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General Moazzam Jah Ansari had said about 10-12 kg explosive material would have been used in the blast that took place in the Peshawar mosque on January 30.

Talking to media in Peshawar, Moazzam Jah Ansari had said the rescue operation had been completed at the site of bomb blast. He had said six DIGs, units and quarters were present in the Peshawar Police Line area where the bomb exploded.

“Checking is done only at the main gate, however negligence happened in checking,” he had said adding that they would try to figure out who was the facilitator of the suicide bomber. It would also be investigated that how the explosive material was collected, he had said.
