Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that Maryam Nawaz has been launched as Mrs. Mandela in the country but the plan has utterly been failed as people of Pakistan have not responded to it.

He expressed these views while talking with journalists at Park Zaman residence in Lahore on Thursday.

He said that the imported government seemed not serious in holding the elections in time and running away from the polls.

Talking about the All Parties Conference (APC) called by the government about the rising terrorism in the country, he said, “Whether the PTI will go or not, but first the government will decide the date of the APC and formally invite the PTI”.

When he was asked why he (Imran) did not show flexibility for talks with chief of army staff, he replied, “That’s fine, but the clapping is done with both hands.”

He further said that Pakistan military and the PTI government had done wonderful job during the Covid-19 drive.

Imran observed that 450 ministers were jailed for corruption in China.

He added that only foreign investments and overseas Pakistanis could save the country.

He challenged the sitting government to bring forth any political victimization case instituted by the PTI regime against them.

The PTI chief observed that no one could minus any leader from politics if he enjoys massive support of the public, adding that those who were taking decisions in closed rooms did not have political experience and wisdom.

He asserted that the graph of Nawaz Sharif’s popularity is getting down, adding that former army chief Bajwa compromised with the then opposition on corruption after getting extension for his second term.

The former premier maintained that the Establishment is a name of only one person and that person is a chief of army staff, adding that neither he nor President Arif Alvi was in contact with the Establishment.

He further said that all of them had gone united against him and wanted to stop his way on every cost.

The PTI chairman observed that escaping from holding the elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be serious violation of the Constitution and it the Article 6 would be applied on the violators.
