LAHORE: Punjab government has been all set to combat Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led Jail Bharo Tehreek and Section 144 has been implemented across the province in this regard.

Sources have informed that the provincial government has decided to deal with the situation and after the implementation of Section 144, police will be arresting the PTI workers who reach Mall Road.

Section 144 has been enforced on Mall Road by the district administration, while heavy police force have also been deployed.

Tear gas shells have also been provided to the police while Rangers and FC have been put on standby who will strive to stop the PTI workers and the detained workers will be shifted to the jails of Mianwali and Dera Ghazi Khan.

Pertinently, PTI is kicking off Jail Bharo Tehreek today and the party workers and stalwarts have started gathering in Lahore.

As per details, the movement will commence from Charing Cross at 2pm at the directives of PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

At the beginning of the movement, as many as 200 workers will present themselves for arrest today.
