Security forces killed three more terrorists in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army security forces conducted an operation and killed eight terrorists in South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to statement by Inter-Services Public Relations, security forces carried out an operation on the presence of information of terrorists in Zinghara area of South Waziristan,

During intense exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists including mortar fire, eight terrorists have been killed, whereas two soldiers are injured.

Unfortunately, two children embraced martyrdom during exchange of fire, it added.

Earlier on March 10, five terrorists were killed in exchange of fire with security forces in North and South Waziristan.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) were conducted by security forces in the North and South Waziristan districts.

During the conduct of the operations, five terrorists were killed after an intense fire exchange. The security forces recovered a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorists.

Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from every inch of our territory with an unflinching resolve.
