BOLAN: A Balochistan Constabulary vehicle has been attacked near Bolan and reportedly nine are dead while several others are injured.

The administration reach the spot and the injured are being rushed to the hospital. The blast occurred near the Kambri bridge area of Bolan.

The blast badly affected the vehicle and a few pedestrians are also reportedly injured in the attack.

The initial reports reveal that the officials were returning to Quetta after Sibi Mela when attacked.

The explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber. Reportedly, 16 security officials are injured.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah – seeking report – strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the van of Balochistan Constabulary in Bolan.

“The entire nation stands with the security forces in the war against terrorism,” he said.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah expressed his condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo also condemned the incident.  “A conspiracy is being hatched to keep the province from progressing by creating unrest and instability.”
