LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Fawad Chaudhry and Shah Mahmood Qureshi have been booked in another case for threatening and hate speech at Zaman Park.

The case was registered against the PTI leaders at the complaint of the sub-inspector Race Course police station and they were booked under charges of issuing threats, blocking roads, hate speech and inciting the public.

Pertinently, Qureshi and Chaudhry hold a press conference at Zaman Park and the FIR holds that both the leaders incited the public against the state institutions.

It was also said in the complaint that the leaders blocked the road that caused trouble to the passersby.

The FIR also submitted that Fawad Chaudhry accused the state of plotting murder. Not only this, the PTI leader delivered a provocative speech and disrupted the traffic.

Since the ouster of PTI government in April last year, party leaders including Chairman Imran Khan have been facing multiple cases against them.

Earlier, a case was registered against Imran Khan and other party leaders for vandalism at the Judicial Complex on the occasion of his appearance in the case.
