ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government made the partial record of Toshakhana public and upload the record on its official website on Sunday.

The released record consisted of 446 pages covering the record from 2002 TO 2023. Former presidents, prime ministers, federal secretaries and government officials were among recepients.

That includes the names of former president and chief of army staff General Pervez Musharraf, former prime minister Shaukat Aziz, former Prime minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, former prime minister Imran Khan whereas the current President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz were among the beneficiaries as per to the Toshakhana record.

The details of the gifts received by the military officials were also made public.
Details of the gifts of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif: He received three gifts of more than 1.2 million rupees from Kuwait for Rs 0.243 million. The gifts included expensive watches, cufflinks and commemorative coins of Kuwait.

Former President Mamnoon Hussain received gifts of more than Rs3.5 million in October 2013 by giving Rs0.540 million.

In 2015, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife got a gold necklace and bracelet worth more than Rs0.6 million by paying Rs0.121 million.

In 2015, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif bought an expensive watch worth Rs1.2 million and perfume for Rs0.240 million.

Former PM Nawaz Sharif got Rs 7.630 million gifts by paying Rs 0.360 million on January 13, 2016. Gifts included expensive watches, pens, rings, cufflinks and rosaries.

Nawaz’s wife received bracelets, necklaces, and earrings worth Rs50.5 million on January 13, 2016 by paying only Rs10.63.

On January 13, 2016, gifts worth more than 16 million rupees were received by Nawaz Sharif by giving Rs3.288 million.

Nawaz Sharif got the Rolex watch worth Rs 450, 0000 in 2017 for Rs 880,000.

Ishaq Dar received gifts worth more than Rs6.3 million on 30 August 2017 by paying Rs1.280 million.

Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi received gifts worth more than 2 crore 20 lakh rupees for 45 lakh rupees on August 17, 2017.

Khawaja Asif received gifts of 4 crore 44 lakh rupees on December 5, 2017 by paying 88 lakh 74 thousand rupees – the gifts included a watch, diamond ring, pen, rosaries and cufflinks.

On January 26, 2009, former President Asif Zardari got two luxury cars worth Rs. 100.78 million by paying only Rs10.1772.

In 2009, Asif Ali Zardari got a BMW car worth Rs 2 crore 73 lakh 39 thousand by paying Rs 40 lakh 99 thousand.

In 2011, Asif Ali Zardari received a gold sword worth 847 thousand rupees, a gold rosary and other gifts for 125 thousand rupees.

He acquired a painting worth Rs10,000 without paying any amount.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari received vase worth Rs6,500 without paying any amount to the exchequer.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif did not pay for dozens of items of Toshakhana, including a cow model (R8,000), decanter (Rs25,000), wall hanging (Rs17,000), bowl, dagger (Rs50,000), booklet (Rs10,000), stadium model (Rs15,000), onyx plate (Rs2,200), horse metal sculpture (Rs28,000), chocolate and honey (Rs12,000), jar (Rs10,000), Uzbek products including books (Rs33,000) and painting (Rs28,000).

PM Shehbaz Sharif paid Rs185,000 for golden vase whose actual price was Rs400,000.

The then chief minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif purchase a decoration piece at Rs5,000 whose actual price was Rs35,000 in 2013.

Sharif kept ceramic bowl (Rs20,000) and a painting with a frame (Rs12,000) without paying a single penny to the exchequer. Other items included vase (Rs22,000), Orange Train model (Rs10,000), souvenir (Rs8,000), honey (Rs1,000), herbal tea (Rs3,000), jam (Rs6,000), three footballs (Rs15,000), decanter (Rs22,000), Arabian coffee container (Rs26,000), Arabian coffee (Rs26,000), bowl set (Rs10,000), carpet (Rs30,000).

Imran Khan had a long list of gifts. He retained a Rolex watch valued at Rs 8.5 crore, pair of cufflinks, a pen and one ring by paying only Rs two crore. Whereas originally the cufflinks were valued at Rs 56,70,000, pen Rs 15,00,000 and ring was priced at 87,50,000, according to the record.

He also retained a wooden oud box and two perfumes free of cost. The value of these items was Rs 500,000. He also kept for himself a Rolex watch priced Rs 1.5 million by paying only Rs 294,000.

While he paid only Rs 338,600 for some other gifts including another Rolex watch valued at Rs 900,000, ladies watch valued at Rs 400,000, I Phone valued at Rs 210,000, two gents suits priced Rs 30,000, four perfumes valued at Rs 35,000, Rs 30,000, Rs 26,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively, a purse valued Rs 6,000, a ladies purse valued at 18,000 and one ball pen priced at Rs 28,000.

Maryam Nawaz, Kulsoom Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif did not pay for a pineapple box.

Former PM Shaukat Aziz paid Rs24,000 for Toshakhana gifts worth Rs170,000.

Geo News director Rana Jawad paid Rs20,000 for a wristwatch worth Rs110,000.

Ishaq Dar paid Rs1,000 for a bedsheet worth Rs15,000.

Marriyum Aurangzeb’s mother paid Rs30,000 for two watches worth 115,000 in 2009.
