ISLAMABAD: Hours after the arrest of Bol News Islamabad Bureau Chief Siddique Jan, Islamabad police finally admitted the detention of the journalist.

The Islamabad Police has told the Anti-Terrorism Court that Siddique Jan has been arrested.

In front of the court, the capital police revealed that Siddique Jan was in custody of CTD Islamabad adding that the journalist will soon be presented before the court of Judge Raja Jawad Abbas in the Anti-Terrorism Court Judicial Complex.

Notably, in another act of vengeance against the media channel, BOL News Islamabad Bureau Chief Siddique Jan was abducted in Islamabad.

Siddique Jan was taken away by men in plain clothes outside the BOL News Office in Islamabad. CCTV footage showed over 25-30 men taking him away in a car.
