Islamabad Police has made fool-proof security arrangements during the appearance of Pakistan Tehreek–e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in court tomorrow, BOL News reported.

Imran Khan is expected to appear in the district and sessions court on Saturday (tomorrow) regarding the Toshakhana case. The Islamabad High Court suspended the arrest warrant and asked him to appear before the lower court in connection with the case.

Police have decided to seal the district and sessions court located in Sector F-8. Police sources said that unauthorized people including PTI workers will not be allowed to enter the court.

The PTI has also, raised concerns over the security arrangements at the F-8 court. It said there has already been a suicide bombing at the court’s premises and the venue was not secure. The party even filed an application to shift the case hearing to the Judicial Complex.

Ahead of Imran’s appearance, PTI leader Senator Shibli Faraz met with Inspector General Islamabad, RPO Rawalpindi, and DIG Security to review security arrangements. Police officials said that security measures are being taken as per the orders of the high court.

Shibli Faraz demanded that the F-8 court be shifted to the Judicial Complex exclusively for the hearing. IG Islamabad assured to request relevant authorities to consider the proposal.
