ISLAMABAD: Minister of Defence Khawaja Asif said that the territory of Pakistan must not be used for any terror activity adding that soaring terrorism is alarming for Pakistan.

Addressing the media he said that the visit to Afghanistan remained fruitful and also announced that the Afghan delegation will soon visit Pakistan.

“The terror incidents have been alarming for us,” he said condemning the loss of lives in such attacks.

The defence minister also expressed grief over the attack that took place on a Constabulary vehicle in Balochistan and underscored that the security forces have been combating the soaring terrorism in the country.

While slamming Imran Khan on his non-appearance in court, Asif said that no one has ever done so in 75 years.

He said that the Jail Bharo Movement was a shame as the detained leaders and workers remained in jail for a day or two only.

“Imran Khan has been pleading to meet the new army chief.”

The minister also requested the court to deal with the PTI chief as per the law adding that the impression must not be made that Khan is being accommodated in any way.
