QUETTA: Police have lodged a case against the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) activists for blocking road in Quetta in protest, Bol News reported.

The FIR read that the PTI workers blocked the road and instigated people. They burnt tyres and placed rocks on the road. The protestors used expletive words against the government. They bocked Tor Nasir road for several hours.

At least five people were nominated by names and 100 to 150 unidentified persons were alleged in the case.

On March 18, PTI had announced to hold a protest in Karachi on March 19 against police operation in Zaman Park and shelling on the PTI caravan.

He had said that the house and convoy of Chairman Imran Khan were targeted by state terrorism. He had said for the first time in history, the state was blocking the way to appear in court. He had further said the shelling was carried out on the caravan while such incidents were not seen even in the era of dictatorship.

He had said that the former prime minister’s house was raided. He paid tribute to the brave workers who became Imran Khan’s shield in difficult times as today history has been written and PTI’s tiger deserves praise.
