ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party(PPP) supported the holding of the election on the date given by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Former Prime Minister and Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that PPP is an electoral party and it believes in elections, it would be better if all assembly elections should be held on the same date.

Raja Pervez Ashraf said that all the political parties should come together and hold all the elections together. He said elections cost a lot, it is better if they are held once.

The Speaker of the National Assembly said that the Supreme Court has also said that there is no problem if the elections are held back and forth a little. He said the economy of the whole world is under pressure and Pakistan will come out of it.
