ISLAMABAD: A three-member delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) reached the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to inform the commission about party reservations with the caretaker government of Punjab and other concerns.

The delegation led by Shah Mehmood Qureshi including Asad Umar and Malika Bukhari reached the Election Commission.

The sources privy to the matter said that PTI informed the commission that despite the announcement of the date the party was not allowed to campaign for polls in the city.

PTI also demanded that the electoral body should stop the caretaker government of Punjab from taking unconstitutional and illegal measures.

Election Commission should ensure equal opportunities to all political parties in elections, the delegation demanded.
