ISLAMABAD: A district and sessions court in Islamabad suspended the arrest warrant of former prime minister Imran Khan in a case of threatening female judge Zeba Chaudhry.

The court canceled the arrest warrant of Imran Khan till March 20.

Additional Sessions Judge Faizan Haider Gilani ordered Imran Khan to appear in the concerned court by March 20.

Earlier, a local court in Islamabad had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Imran Khan in the case of threatening Judge Zeba Chaudhry.

On the other hand, a court in Islamabad reserved verdict on the suspension of arrest warrant issued for Imran Khan in Toshakhana case.

PTI moved IHC requesting the suspension of non-bailable arrest warrant issued against Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case. The high court directed the party to move the case to the trial court.

Today’s hearing was conducted by Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal. PTI counsel requested the court either to suspend the arrest warrant or to issue a bailable warrant in the case.
