KARACHI: Three police officials from interior Sindh caught robbing people in Karachi, Bol News reported.

The arrested police officer Mumtaz belonged to Nawabshah and police officials Saddam and Naqeeb are appointed in CIA Noshehro Feroze. They were posted at Lal Shehbaz festival in Sehwan. From there, they came to Karachi for robbery.

ON their way from Hyderabad to Karachi, they snatched a vehicle and threw its driver and conductor into bushes after tying their hands and feet with ropes. The suspects also snatched money from the truck driver and conductor.

Mumtaz, Saddam and Naqeeb carried out robbery with the assistance of their two other accomplices. FIR of the incident has been lodged in Malir’s Gadap City police station.

Police officials are avoiding giving details of the incident.

On February 8, police had nabbed three men impersonating as ISI agents in district Keamari, Karachi, Bol News had reported.

On suspicion, police had intercepted three men riding a bike near Masha Allah Godown on Akbar Road in Shershah area. When the police inquired, they had claimed that they were associated with Pakistan Army and showed their service cards.

Upon investigation, police had found that they had no association with Pakistan Army. Police had searched them and found that they possessed different fake service cards of intelligence agencies and ATM cards.

Police had recovered Rs61,900, four bank cheques and one Rolex wrist watch from them. The trio had been arrested and a case had been lodged against them, taking legal action, police had said.
