LAHORE: Police have kicked off operation at the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Zaman Park.

The police have cordoned off the area by placing containers and heavy deployment of security officials has been made in regard to the operation at Zaman Park.

Several PTI workers are also detained from the spot while the party workers resorted to pelting stones at the officials.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers – who came to welcome Imran Khan on the occasion of his court appearance – are being arrested from G-11 for violating Section 144.

Not only this, owing to security concerns, internet service has been halted in sector G-11 and strict security measures have been made at court orders.

Section 144 has been imposed in the city as former prime minister Imran Khan is to appear in court in the Toshakhana case.

Apart from this, a prisoner van has been delivered to G-11 Chowk.
