Junaid Safdar, the son of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz, announced on Thursday that he and his spouse, Ayesha have separated, almost a year after their marriage.

Ayesha, hailing from Qatar, is the daughter of Saif ur Rehman Khan, the former head of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and a wealthy businessman with business ventures in Pakistan, Qatar, and the Middle East.

Ayesha’s upbringing took place in Qatar, where she attended British primary and secondary schools and excelled in her O and A level examinations.

She pursued her higher education in London, securing a spot at the prestigious University College London (UCL) and ultimately earning a BEng degree in Civil Engineering.

Ayesha held the position of Director at Redco International, a prominent industrial and contracting conglomerate that has been operating in Qatar since 1981, boasting a workforce of 20,000 employees and engineers.

Among her interests and pastimes, Ayesha is known for her love of reading, horse riding, interior design, and history.

She also derives great pleasure from hiking, connecting with nature, and exploring different parts of the world through travel, as indicated in one of her profiles.
