Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Butto has demanded to give a level playing field to all the parties and said that the delay in the elections is a denial of the election.

The PPP chairman, while giving a speech at the Supreme Court (SC) bar ceremony, mocked the Pakistan Muslim League-N and said that we had to show the undemocratic forces how to establish a democratic government; we had to restore the confidence of the parliament and the people.

He said that all the institutions were becoming neutral overnight. Wow! All are convinced of accountability through the same institution.

The chairman of the PPP further said that the judges are very convinced of the accountability of civilians, but they are not convinced of their own accountability.

The PPP leader added that the restoration of the judiciary in 2009, due to public pressure, increased the arrogance of the judges. In the 2013 election, Iftikhar Chaudhry and the judiciary showed clear bias, and in the 2018 election, the favorites of the judiciary were also very clear.

Chairman PPP demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) hold an immediate election and said the ECP should announce the date and schedule of the election soon.
