Section 144 imposed at MDCAT centres in Sindh
The date of MDCAT for admission in medical and dental colleges and universities in Sindh has come out, Bol News reported.
According to the sources of the Sindh Health Department (SHD), MDCAT for admission to medical and dental colleges and universities will be held on November 19.
The SHD said that the test organized by Dow University of Health and Sciences will be held at the Expo Center, and the duration will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Moreover, the candidates will be searched before entering the examination center, and during this time, the papers of the candidates who bring mobile phones, calculators, and electronic devices will be cancelled.
Apart from this, the parents and relatives of the children appearing for the test will not be allowed to stay in and around the examination center premises.
Earlier, students who copied in the Medical and Dental College admission tests (MDCAT) were banned from taking the exam for 2 years by Khyber Medical (KM) University.
According to details, KM University has issued a formal declaration regarding banning students, in which it has been said that 219 students will be banned from giving MDCAT for two years.
It should be noted that MDCAT was held last month on September 10. Students were caught copying through Bluetooth and other means.
Added to that, the KP cabinet canceled the entrance of MDCAT 2023 after massive cheating cases came to light.
