Two soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred, while a terrorist was gunned down in two separate terror attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Saturday.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that during the first operation in Tirah area of Khyber, a terrorist was killed during exchange of fire; while two others were arrested in injured condition.

In a second incident, a military vehicle was targeted by an Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) in Serwekai town, South Waziristan.

As a result of the explosion, two soldiers Banaras Khan and Abdul Kareem, were martyred.

The military media wing further reported about the recovery of arms and ammunition from the possession of the slain and arrested terrorists.

The terrorists were revealed to be involved in attacks on security forces and target killings of innocent civilians.

ISPR stated that a clearance operation was conducted in the area to eliminate possible terrorists.

The Pakistan Army remains committed to eradicate the menace of terrorism.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was conducted in area of Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan District where after intense exchange of fire, terrorist Ikram was sent to hell.
