ATC to indict 30 PTI leaders in May 9 cases on Nov 29

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Karachi on Monday deferred the indictment of 30 PTI leaders in May 9 cases till November 29.

The PTI leaders to be indicted include Haleem Adil Sheikh, Raja Azhar, Khurram Sher Zama, and several others.

The court scheduled the indictment of PTI leaders for November 29 and strictly ordered the authorities to ensure the attendance of the accused at the next hearing.

Dozens of PTI leaders are accused of arson, rioting, and damaging police vehicles and property on Shahrah Faisal Karachi after violent protests broke out across Pakistan; following the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan on May 9.

A case has been registered against the PTI leaders in the Tipu Sultan police station.
