Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has extended greetings to the Hindu community in Pakistan and all those observing Diwali.

In a press release from Bilawal House, he conveyed his best wishes, emphasizing that Diwali symbolizes light, joy, and the triumph of good over evil.

Bilawal expressed the PPP’s commitment to inter-faith tolerance, harmony, brotherhood, and unity, citing the equal rights granted to minorities in the 1973 Constitution by former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

He highlighted the late Benazir Bhutto’s lifelong advocacy for minority rights and noted that former President Asif Ali Zardari initiated the celebration of the National Day of Minorities on August 11 annually.
