UPPER DIR: At least four people were killed and five others injured as a vehicle plunged into a ravine in Gwaldai village of Upper Dir district on Tuesday, Bol News reported.

The injured were shifted to the district headquarters hospital. Two of the wounded were in critical condition, said the rescue sources.

On the other hand, at least five people were killed and several left injured after a speeding passenger bus crashed into donkey carts in Kot Addu.

The victims on the donkey carts were on their way from Kot Addu, heading out to find daily labor opportunities when the tragedy struck.

The accident involved a high-speed passenger bus operated by Baloch Company, en route from Rawalpindi to Rajanpur.

Prompt response from rescue personnel played a crucial role in this unfortunate event.
