Citizens in Pakistan can anticipate relief from inflation at the beginning of December as the prices of petroleum products are expected to decrease.

Sources indicate a substantial reduction, with petrol prices likely to drop by Rs 7.37 per liter, and high-speed diesel becoming cheaper by Rs 6.85 per liter.

Additionally, the cost of kerosene is anticipated to decrease by Rs 2.5 per liter.

This reduction in prices is attributed to the decline in global prices of petroleum products.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will present the Petroleum Products Working to the government on November 30.

Following this, the Ministry of Finance, in consultation with the Prime Minister, will issue a notification regarding the revised prices.

These adjustments in petroleum product prices are expected to be effective from December 1st to 15th.
