A District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad on Wednesday confirmed the bail of former interior minister and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid in Kohsar police station case.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra conducted the hearing.

AML chief Sheikh Rashid appeared before the court along with his legal team.

Rashid had applied a pre-arrest bail application in the court in this course.

The bail plea was accepted today, with court confirming Sheikh Rashid’s bail in the case.
