The accountability court has granted an extension to the interim bail of PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

The hearing was presided over by Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir at Adiala Jail. Bushra Bibi’s interim bail has been extended until December 13, and the next hearing is scheduled for the final arguments on her bail plea.

Earlier, both PTI Chief and Bushra Bibi filed a plea seeking the re-registration of Al Qadir University Trust in the Islamabad High Court.

The plea emphasized the need to declare the unnecessary delay by the Labor and Industry Directorate as illegal and prevent authorities from hindering Al Qadir University activities.

Despite being registered under the Trust Act 1982, the Al Qadir University Trust faced suspension after the Trust Act 2020.

The plea highlighted the lack of a proper response to an application submitted on February 22.
