Rawalpindi: A one-day physical remand of former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry was approved in the corruption case, Bol News reported.

Fawad Chaudhary was produced from Adiala Jail in the court of Duty Judge Ghulam Mustafa of Judicial Complex Rawalpindi. The duty civil judge granted Fawad Chaudhry’s one-day physical remand and ordered him to appear before the relevant court tomorrow, Monday, December 11.

After Civil Judge Ghulam Mustafa gave a safe verdict, the police took Fawad Chaudhary and left the judicial complex.

It should be noted that the anti-corruption department registered a case of corruption against Fawad Chaudhary on November 29.

Earlier, a case has been registered against former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry on the charge of stealing fertilizer sacks.

Fawad Chaudhry was accused of stealing six sacks of manure, four chairs and a sofa set.

A case was registered in the police station Pind Dadan Khan on the complaint of Chaudhry Nauman Asif.
