Islamabad: The return of illegal Afghans from all over the country continued on Sunday, Bol News reported.

According to the details, the evacuation of illegal Afghan residents is still going on. On Saturday, another 2,121 Afghan citizens went back to their homeland. Those who went to Afghanistan included 498 women, 634 men, and 989 children.

Added to that, on the previous day, 186 families were returned to their homeland through 87 vehicles.

It should be noted that so far, a total of 0.4 million and 21 thousand have returned to their countries; this process of return is ongoing.

Earlier, the federal government has given a deadline of October 31 to illegal immigrants from across the country to leave Pakistan, after which a large number of Afghan migrants have started leaving Pakistan from the Sohrab Goth Afghan settlement in Karachi.

In this regard, a large number of diasporas are settled in various areas of Pakistan. However, illegal diasporas have been found involved in crimes like terrorism, occupation, drug and arm smuggling.

The illegal migrants have requested that the government give them more time to leave the country.
